HAWAII

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

Picture
November, December January, February, March
These months get the most rain with November being the wettest month of them all by far. The average temperature can fall to 23 in January / February with an average high of 26. Rain showers are common throughout these months with some heavy rain in November and December. Great months for whale watching and big surf as well as a cheap holiday deal but avoid if you want to spend endless days on the beach,
Late March, April, May and September, October
These are classed as shoulder months. The weather is generally good with a few cloudy days burning off in the afternoon and random but sparse showers in the late afternoon. Crowds are generally low and accommodation prices much less then peak summer months., Our top pick is May or September.

June,  July and August
Peak Summer months means beautiful weather and high prices. It is possible to travel on a budget in early June if you find a deal otherwise it will be busy and expensive in these 3 months,  Weather is generally clear and sunny every day.
Hawaii is good all year round with weather only varying by a few degrees (from the average of 27) with more rain in the winter. Hawaii is very popular in the summer months. This is when all of the US is on their summer break, so can be really busy. Its best to stick to shoulder seasons such as late April and May and late September and October. During these months you will still have warm days and nights with partial cloud coverage and some possible light showers that come and go very quickly. If you want to whale watch or see the big surf, you should go during the winter months,

Steer clear of Australian school holidays if you can. Hawaii is quickly becoming an Australian destination favourite.
